Hours 37.5 hours per weekTop Corner, London's leading team sports provider, has an exciting opportunity in its London office for a League Manager. You must be passionate about sport, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy a busy team orientated environment.
League Management is the key function at Top Corner. You will be directly responsible for managing a large number of leagues, and will be the point of contact for all of the teams within those leagues. If you are someone who thrives under pressure, is well organised and will take initiative to keep our customers happy, this could be the job for you.
Our business is based on football and netball, and so experience in either or both of those sports is an advantage. We are particularly keen to hear from players of other team sports - for example volleyball, futsal, cricket, rugby and hockey.
Our office is based in Caledonian Road, just three minutes' walk from the tube station (Piccadilly Line).
MAIN DUTIES
- taking care of day-to-day running of the leagues
- arranging fixtures
- promoting the Top Corner leagues
- maintaining our unique league management database
- appointing and liaising with match officials
- keeping stock levels up - trophies, match official kits, balls etc.
- dealing with enquiries from members
- disciplinary issues
- visiting pitches for presentations, cup evenings, monitoring of leagues
You will:
- have good experience of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- have excellent written and oral communications skills
- be able to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines
- be flexible and adaptable
