We
would like to invite all Southwark netball teams to the our summer
netball tournament in support of Colombo's Street Community Project
which will launch the official TC clubhouse!

tournament:
Features an afternoon of netball with TC Gilbert match balls
Barbeque lunch for a squad of 10 at our new TC clubhouse
Qualified umpires
Silverware for all finalists
Individual award for player of the tournament
How
to enter
We
require a signed team application form and full squad fees
to confirm your spot. There are only 12 places available and
these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

More about the netball
All teams will be asked to register between 11-11.30am
and games will start prompt at 12pm. Games will will have two halves
of six minutes, and each team will play a minimum of five games. The
two top teams in each group will play in the semi-finals (which will
be eight minutes each way) and the winners of each will play in the
final (eight minutes each way). A full round-up and pictures of the
tournament will
feature on the Top Corner website.
Are the boys jealous?
There is a men's football competition running alongside
our tournament on the third-generation astroturf pitches near the
netball courts.

More about the clubhouse
Jack's
Lounge on Isabella Street will be providing the food. All teams
will be given barbequeue vouchers for their squad as well as free
entry into the quiz. The barbeque will be serving from 3.30-5pm.
More about the charity
The Colombo Street Community and Sports Centre is
a social enterprise and charity. The centre provides high quality
health, recreation and leisure facilities at an affordable price to
residents and employees in the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.
On behalf of the the Colombo Street Community Sports Centre, Coin
Street Community Builders' project managed the acquisition of two
derelict sites on which two synthetic turf football pitches and two
all-weather multi-sports courts have been built. The facilities are
well used and the Colombo Centre has been able to offer free use for
local community groups every evening and throughout weekends.
