Top Corner netball

Scoring, the netball way
Many of you have been rather baffled by your league tables since we introduced the new scoring system, so to clear things up, points are awarded as follows:

Win 6 points
Draw 4 points
Lose but by less than 5 goals 3 points
Lose but by less than half the opposition's score 2 points

Lose by more half the opposition's score

1 points

And why? Because, my dear netballers, it means that every goal counts. If you're behind in a game with no hope of pulling it back, there are still points to fight and this brings back some excitement to games that might otherwise be a complete wash-out for half the players.

Lonely hearts
Lonely hearts
Fill-in players can be found on our lonely hearts list and if you'd like to become a ringer yourself, please e-mail Henrietta. There aren't many guys on the list at the moment so if you're a boy with unquenchable thirst for netball, getting on the list would definitely be a good idea.
You can also be a fan on our Facebook page and find players and teams looking for each other.
